Wider Curriculum
Autumn 2
During this term we continue our topic of Africa brushing up on our geographical skills, in D&T we will be sewing our own Tote Bag from beautiful African fabric, in PSHE we discuss our body and what is safe, in PE we will learn an African style of dance and a lyrical routine. The class are still really enjoying learning all about Africa!
D&T - We started practicing our sewing skills, we practiced a running stitch! Everyone tried really hard to say some had never used a thread and needle before!
DT continued ... here are our finished African tote bags made using beautiful African fabrics. We practiced our measuring, cutting and textile skills!
