In English we have begun the term by looking at the key features of a fantasy narrative, before having a go at writing our own story based on a ‘Wish’.

This terms book focus is ‘Street Child’. A fictional story based on an orphan working in the factories during the Industriak Revolution. As we work our way through the book, we are looking a character descriptions, sentence structure,drama and letter writing.

Pupils have been up levelling sentences using fronted adverbials, expanded noun phrases and subordinate clauses.

Each week we have a different spelling focus.
