This week we are continuing our writing of our very own explanation text about Hand Axes.  Use the resources to help you create your very own explanation text.

In today's learning, focus your attention to learning about glossaries in order to make your very own glossary for your explanation text, tomorrow.

In this lesson, you will need to alphabetise the items and then use a dictionary (online or text version) to find the meanings of these words.

Maths

This week is all about 'Data Handling'. We will be exploring pictograms, bar charts, tables and line graphs and learning how to interpret and construct these. 

Science

We are looking at how sound travels this week. We are going to understand how the sound travels to the ear. Also we will look at how sound travels over a distance using a string telephone.
