Girls Football Match V CarrHill
Friday 19th November
Our girls played their first match for school today in a nail biting 1-0 win against CarrHill.
Although we had most of the possession in the first half we just couldn’t score, either shooting wide or their goal keeper making a great save.
It took a quick snap shot from Khloe S to break the dead lock and secure our place into the next round of matches.
well done girls a really good performance today.#TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork

17th November 2021
This event was organised by Bassetlaw, Newark and Mansfield SGO’s and was held at Sherwood pines Forest near Edwinstowe.
We were invited to take 30 pupils from year 3 and to make staffing easier decided to take Green 2.
A 3 km course was set out in the Forest and it was extremely well Marshalled and organised.
Every child was given a Santa hat to wear and sleigh bells could be heard echoing throughout the trees.
All of our children had a lovely morning and it was great to be outside in the fresh air and autumnal sunshine.
Dance Festival
This year as part of our membership in the school games network we were invited to take part in a dance festival at Oaks.
The leaders from Oaks were amazing and they taught our pupils a routine for their part of the final show-in a few weeks time.
Now back at school the group will rehearse the routine, sort out costumes and then go back to Oaks with all the other schools for the performance in front of parents and the other schools.

It was a little one sided and although that was the case it was still a good game and both sets of boys played with team spirit and smiles on their fs Ed.

Year 5/6 Boys V Holy Family
Thursday 9th December
A really good local derby match. A few changes in our team to give some more boys the opportunity to represent school. Joshua F and Jakob C and Harley T all represented school for the first time today.
It was a close game and a very tightly packed midfield. We took the lead before half time and went in 1-0.
The second half Harley T scored on his debut and we were in control. Holy Family then scored a scorcher of a goal and this seemed to spur them on and within minutes they had equalised.
We 5 minutes to go Alfie L scored from a deflected corner and we managed to hold on until the final whistle.
final score 3-2 .
