Next week: Tuesday 16 February, it is Shrove Tuesday. Most of you will associate this day with eating pancakes. This week we thought it would be appropriate to look back at the significance of this day. Before you get started. Can you mind map what you already know about Shrove Tuesday and lent. Once you have done that we would like you to look at PowerPoint presentation, included, to develop your knowledge and understanding of this.

Obviously we would love to see you making some pancakes, presenting them in a variety of ways with various toppings. We would be impressed if we could see some pancake tossing video's too. Who could make the most delicious pancake? Who could toss theirs the highest?
