Week 1

We kicked off learning about the Industrial Revolution by creating a time line of historical events from prehistoric times to the current day, and seeing where the IR sat on the line. The purpose of this was to orientate the children so that they can link their knowledge of history prior to the IR.

Week 2

The children learnt about the main contributing factors that facilitated the Industrial Revolution and how they all linked together. Why not try testing them by asking them what they can remember about each of the factors?
