Over the next two weeks we will be learning how to write our very own explanation text for how to make our very own Stone Age hand axe from a bar of soap.

Friday's Lesson

Use the video and the resource to begin to write your own introductory paragraph to introduce your explanation text.  Think about how the different rhetorical questions that you might use and then complete the remainder of the paragraph with some further information about hand axes to engage your reader in wanting to read on and make their own hand axe.

This week focuses on all things 'Place Value'. Pupils will practice and consolidate partitioning, rounding and fully understanding the value of each digit in a number. 

RE

This week we are looking at "The Holy Rosary". We will learn what it is and understand the importance of it.
