Art: We have been drawing some lovely snow on tree scenes
We have been practicing simple acts of kindness everyday and added these to our tree - be the reason someone smiles today!
English: We have been using role play to act out the story The Snowman by Raymond Briggs.
English - We have been looking at Instructions. First we followed a set of instructions to make a Snowman decoration. Then we wrote our own set of instructions to show how we made them using key features.
Geography- Exploring weather vocabulary.
Maths: We've been using our addition boards to help us to add using Base 10.
English/Art: Our fabulous firework poetry.
PE: We have been dancing to winter themed songs (Dance & Movement)
PE lessons with Mrs Paton
This half term we have been working on static balancing and ball coordination in our Tuesday PE lessons.
We started with learning how to hold a mini front support with good posture and once we had mastered that we moved on to a full front support, straight back and tummy tucked in. Then we had to pretend that a mouse had landed on our back and we had to flick it off. Below is a video of some of the class attempting to do this.
