Miss Ives' Class

In the Summer Term we are learning all about how things grow!

We will be investigating plants and look at how we grow vegetables, herbs and flowers. We will find out about life cycles of minibeasts. Our special experiences will be growing our own butterflies, visiting a garden center and clumber park.

In the Spring Term we are learning all about Wonderful Worksop!

We will be investigating the area in which we live as well as the different shops and services our town has to offer! Look out for visits from the Fire Brigade, Police, NHS staff as well as walks into Worksop Town!

In the Autumn term we are learning all about Celebrations!

We will learn all about ourselves and look at special festivals and celebrations people can celebrate called Diwali, Bonfire Night, Birthdays and Christmas. We will even take part in our first Nativity show!
