Autumn Term
This term pupils will:
- Begin their journey towards cursive (joined handwriting)
- Begin to learn more complex organisational features for a variety of different text types
- Learn to use more advanced conjunctions, vocabulary, sentence starters and punctuation within their writing
- Gain confidence in creating their versions of a variety of texts
- Gain confidence in editing their own writing to make improvements
