Over the next week we will revising and revisiting some key English skills ready for our return to face to face teaching.  Follow the videos and complete the sheet provided.

Monday's Session

In today's session, you will be learning how to avoid repeating words in a sentence by using pronouns in the place of a noun.  Follow the video to help you complete the worksheet.

Geography

This week we would like you to research a continent. Choosing one of the continents we would like to to research a country. Within that country we would like you to find the following...

1. An animal found there
2. A landmark
3. A picture or photograph of some significance to that country (This could be a flag, a famous person, a historical event, a significant place etc).

There is a PowerPoint to remind you of the seven continents, some facts and a quiz to test your knowledge and understanding.

 

Challenge: If you would like to extend your learning further. You could create a fact file, information sheet etc, PowerPoint presentation based on your chosen continent and country. This information can include the flag, map, major geographical features e.g. rivers, volcanoes, mountains, desert, landmarks, famous people, historical events etc.
