Welcome to Foundation Stage

Our Session Times:

FS1: 8:45-11:45am (Morning places)

12:15-3:15pm (Afternoon places)

FS2: 8:45am-3:15pm


We welcome all parents/carers into the unit at the start of session times to help  their children settle into school and to take part in a starter activity.


Here is an outline of our week in Foundation Stage:

F2 PE - please make sure you have your PE kit and trainers/pumps in school today.

Music with Mr Thornton for F1 and F2



Magic Mentions Assembly with the rest of the school.




  • Please try to read with your child at least 3 times a week. Just 5 minutes every day would make a huge difference to your child's confidence and progress. Don't forget to record your time with your child in their diaries so that they can be entered into our raffle!



Please help yourself to the selection of bedtime books we have on offer from our class library.


  • Please label all clothing with your child's full name
  • Please ensure that sure your child dresses appropriately for the weather. They have the opportunity to play outside come rain or shine!
  • Please bring a water bottle into school for your child, labelled with their name.

Starting this week (14th January) our exciting new Breakfast Club in FS! Come and enjoy the FREE Breakfast with your grown up each morning between 8.45 - 9am!!




Children love using tablet computers. If you have a tablet computer at home, why not download some educational apps for them to use?
