2016 Events
House football competition 2016-2017
Our year 5 and 6 pupils took part in an inter house football competition on Thursday 20th October 2016.
This was organised again by our school sports crew . They did an amazing job yet again and everyone involved had a great time.
The winning house was Windsor.
Year 3/4 Inter House Hockey Competition.
On Friday 14 th October our school sporting champions organised a Hockey competition for all of our year 3 and 4 children. They refereed the games and help to organise the pupils in their house.
Everyone had a fantastic time and the overall winners were Buckingham House.
InterHouse Swimming Gala
Our Sporting Champions organised an amazing swimming gala on Tuesday 12 th July at Worksop College Swimming pool. A Boy and Girl from each house in years 3,4,5 and 6 were selected to take part by their House Captains.
We then decided on which races to do and ended up with Front crawl, woggle race, back stroke, sea horse and team floating challenge.
Everyone had a fantastic time and the whole thing was won by Windsor House.
School Games Day
This year we have had a week of school games days.
The first was a year 5/6 Day where every child took part in a variety of sporting activities.
We also had some of our sporting champions helping out and organising different teams. This ended with an inter house sports day competition with Balmoral house winning.
We then had a school games day for years 3/4 and this was lead by 20 of our older year 6 sports leaders.They encouraged,helped and supported all the pupils who had a fantastic time taking part. Again this was an inter house competition which was won by Sandringham House.
Our final school games day was for KS1.Once again our year 6 sports leaders helped to organise this event and helped out the children. It was a huge success and a massive thank you and well done to our young leaders and our key stage one children.
