Over the next two weeks we will be learning how to write our very own explanation text for how to make our very own Stone Age hand axe from a bar of soap.

Thursday's Lesson

Use the video to help you complete the resource.  Read through the sentences and select the correct conjunction to fit in that sentence - there may be more than one that sounds correct, and that's okay! 

 

Once you have completed the task, have a go at writing your very own sentences based around the hand axes using the conjunctions.

This week focuses on all things 'Place Value'. Pupils will practice and consolidate partitioning, rounding and fully understanding the value of each digit in a number. 

Art

This week, within our prehistoric art, we are looking at the use of colour using natural resources. We are encouraging you to experiment using natural materials to create colour on the page. There is a PowerPoint and task sheet to help you with this.
