Autumn 1 - The Great Fire Of London
This half term, the children have been learning about The Great Fire of London. They have been learning about where and how the fire started and why the fire spread so quickly. In our D&T lessons, the children have been learning about Tudor houses. They have been busy designing their own Tudor houses and worked great as a team to create their own house!
We have been learning about Harvest and how it is celebrated. We have been practicing songs for our Harvest festival and have done some harvest artwork. For our artwork, we first looked at root vegetables and how they grow. We then drew the vegetables with oil pastels and then did a paint wash over the top. Take a look at our photographs below ☺️
