We are an inclusive Academy and welcome children from all backgrounds and abilities to experience an education with us. Having a child with a disability can be extremely stressful and their education may look a little different at times.  Here at Sparken Hill Academy we have two Teaching Staff that coordinate the provision for children with additional needs. These are called Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) and our SENCOs are Miss J Walker and Mrs J Parker. They will work together with you to provide the best possible support for your child and if needed bring in specialists to work with your child in mainstream school. In addition, we have our own Community Team and within that a Senior Family Support Worker called Mrs Karen Gardiner who works alongside families, SENCO's and external partner agencies such as 

GP's/Paediatricians, the Healthy Families Team, CAMHS, Social Care, Educational Psychologists and many more.
