Week commencing 16th November

Spellings

This weeks spellings are focusing on _ably words

Have a go at the 'look, cover write check' activity, to help you learn them - why not get someone to test you at home?

There are then Spelling Shed activities and some other activities for you to work on.

Maths

This week we are continuing out work on fractions, in particular improper fractions and converting to mixed numbers. We are then moving on to area and perimeter.

Below are some videos to watch and activities to complete after you've watched them. There are some Active Learn games and also an LBQ unit to complete.

There's lots for you to do!

History - The Victorians

We are continuing our work on the Victorians this week, looking at the similarities and differences between the Rich and Poor. Can you research on the internet. What similarities and differences were there? Present you research in an interesting way - you might want to draw a poster, do a piece of writing, draw a chart or create a powerpoint.

Try the sorting activity below.

Science - Electricity lesson 2

What are the different components in an electrical circuit?

In this lesson, we will learn how to build an electrical circuit. We will look at all the different components of an electrical circuit and learn the rules for building them. You will need a piece of paper, a pencil and a ruler for this lesson.

Physical Education

Children and young people should engage in moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity for an average
of at least 60 minutes per day across the week. This weekly resource will give simple ideas on how to be
physically active with a different sport theme for 30 of those minutes each day.
