Toys - Old and New
Design Technology
This week the children have been working hard, using their sewing skills, to create their own glove puppets.
Literacy
In Literacy we have practised writing lists. We wrote some shopping lists together on the whiteboard first and then they wrote a list of their favourite toys in their books.
History
In our History lessons this half term we are finding out about old toys. This week the children sorted toys into groups to show which they thought were old toys and which were toys from today. This lead to lots of interesting discussion between the children.

In our DT lessons we are building up our skills ready to sew a puppet. This week we practised drawing around a template onto felt and cutting out the pieces. Then we glued the 2 parts together and decorated them to make finger puppets.
