This half term our topic is Winter Wonderland.
Art
In our Art lessons we are developing our skills, ready to have a go at recreating this painting of 'A Shortening Winter's Day' by Joseph Farquharson.
In our first lesson we used our observation skills to see how the trees around school were changing and then used to different media to draw what we saw.
Science
In our Science lessons we have been finding out about the weather. As part of this, we have made our own weather station to measure rainfall, wind direction and temperature. We have been checking this regularly and recording what we find. Lots of the children are hoping we find some snow soon!
