On here you can find what we have been up to and any information about our weekly routines.

 

In class we have Mrs Holland who is a Teaching Assistant, she will listen to your child read at some point during the week and she also works with small groups of children during lessons to support and encourage them. 

 

During the Thurday morning lessons Mrs Paton teaches the class PE and Mr Thornton teaches music.

Our 2nd PE lesson is normally on a Tuesday afternoon. to ensure that all pupils are ready for the different PE lessons we will appreciate that your child brings the PE kit in on a Monday and leave it at school all week and take home on a Friday. 

 

 

Autumn Term 2019

This Term our topic will be Harry Potter and almost everything we do will be based around this subject. During the term we will be going on a class trip to Harry Potter world in Watford. 

For PE lessons we will be learning how to play PopLacrosse for one hour a week  our SHA version of Quidditch and for the 2nd hour we will be learning skills of orienteering and map reading. 

Spring Term 2020

This term we will be changing our topic to survival and skills needed to be able to do this. In one of our weekly PE lessons  we will be learning how to work together as a team whilst solving various problems. Outdoor adventure activities and thinking outside of the box. 

In our 2nd weekly PE lesson we will be following the “Chance to shine” cricket programme. Mrs O'Malley is looking forward to showing you all her newly acquired batting skills!
