GREEK DAY 

We are ready for our Greek day. We will be taking part in lots of different Greek activities including a mini olympics, a quiz, finding out about different Greek myths and discussing weapons and warfare. 

Science-Plants and lifecycles 

In science this half term we have been learning about parts of a plant and their functions. We will be moving onto learn about the lifecycles of both plants and mammals. Below are photos of us dissecting a Tulip and labelling each part. 

PE- Girls Football Skills Trip

Last week a few girls from Blue 3 had the opportunity to go to Retford Oaks to take part in a girls football skills event. All the girls had a great afternoon and below are a few photos.

The Queens Platinum Jubilee

During the Platinum Jubilee week we will be:

• Making crowns.
• Learning about the history of the royal family and the queen.
• Creating our own acrostic poems.
• Using water colours to paint the flag of the United Kingdom in a silhouette of the Queen.
• Learning a whole school dance.
