In our Art lessons this half term, we have been studying the work of Pablo Picasso and have produced our own portraits inspired by his work.
English
In our English lessons we have been exploring a range of non-fiction books and comparing the features with some fiction books. Soon we will be writing our own non-fiction texts about keeping healthy.
In our English lessons, we have been learning about the features of poetry. We then thought about what we could see, hear, touch, smell and taste during the winter time. We thought of some fantastic adjectives to describe Winter and then had a go at writing our own Winter poems. The children practised reading and rehearsing their poems and performed them for the rest of the class.
