This terms writing will focus round the book: Pig Heart Boy. In week one pupils have wrote a balanced argument looking at the reasons for and against the books main character Cameron receiving xenotransplantation (a pig’s heart) to save his life.
This term we will be working hard to practice SATs style questions in guided reading and grammar. Each morning the class has a dedicated spelling session with a focus rule or sound.
We made time to join in with the BBC’s World Book Day live lesson.
In reading comprehension we are practicing SATs style text and questions.
