Spring 1 Arctic Adventures
In our Science lessons we have explored different ways that animals keep warm in Winter. We conducted an experiment using ice, plastic bags and lard to explore how blubber keeps animals warm in the Arctic regions.
In DT we have been learning about mechanisms. We found examples of mechanisms in our classroom and discussed how levers and sliders work. We then designed and made a moving picture which we shared with children in Foundation Stage.
In RE we have been looking at religious stories and thinking about the moral behind them. We listened to the parable of the Good Samaritan and then acted it out in small groups.
