At Sparken Hill Academy, we value the views of our families and the wider community. When we review important arrangements or plan significant changes, we ask for your views before any decisions are made.

Current consultation: Admission Arrangements 2028–29

From Friday 23 October 2026 until 12 noon on Friday 18 December 2026, the Governors are consulting on the Academy's proposed admission arrangements for the 2028–29 school year.

No changes are proposed. However, the School Admissions Code requires all admission authorities to consult on their arrangements at least once every seven years, even when nothing has changed.

The proposed arrangements, the consultation poster and a response form are all available on our Admissions page.

How to respond
Please send us your comments by 12 noon on Friday 18 December 2026:

1. In person: complete a paper response form, available from the school office, and hand it in.
2. By email: send a completed response form to office@sparkenhill.com.
3. By post: write to FAO Chair of Governors, Sparken Hill Academy, Sparken Hill, Worksop, Notts S80 1AW.

The Governors will consider every response before determining the arrangements by 28 February 2027.
