To start this term, we did a lot of investigating into the life of Charles Dickens (or as he is affectionately called now, Charles Chickens) in preparation for a biography write up.

W/C 25th November, we read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and discussed the character Scrooge and analysed how he changes throughout the novel. We then looked at the features of a successful speech in preparation for creating and giving a speech defending Scrooge in court as a reformed man.
