Autumn Term

This term pupils will:

• Begin their journey towards cursive (joined handwriting) 
• Begin to learn more complex organisational features for a variety of different text types
• Learn to use more advanced conjunctions, vocabulary, sentence starters and punctuation within their writing 
• Gain confidence in creating their versions of a variety of texts
• Gain confidence in editing their own writing to make improvements
