Year Two

Today we are find the difference between two different numbers for example 5 and 8, I can work out the difference between these two number using a number line, start at five and count the jumps it take to get to the next number, remember to count the top of your jumps rather than the lines. When you have done this write a sentence to show what you found for example, 5 is three less than 8, 8 is three more than 5, the difference between 5 and 8 is 3.

Make sure you try the challenge!

Yesterday you created a comic strip retelling us what you did during the Christmas holidays, today we would like you to use this as a plan to create a piece of writing retelling the same information. Remember like yesterday start at the beginning, and work your way through the events. Try and include your time connectives, adjectives, adverbs and conjunctions like yesterday, along with your capital letters full stops, and finger spaces. Don't forget you can send us your work through class dojo, I can't wait to see how you've done!
Read the story of 'The lost sheep' and then answer the questions on the work sheet about what you have learnt.
Use the information on the videos to help you to draw different types of transport you might see in London. After you have drawn them, then add labels to your pictures.
