Week beginning 23rd November

This weeks spellings are focusing on words ending in ‘ment’

Have a go at the 'look, cover write check' activity, to help you learn them - why not get someone to test you at home?

There are then Spelling Shed activities and some other activities for you to work on.

Practise your new spellings at home. There is a 'look, cover, write, check' sheet with them on, along with an activity. You can also log onto Spelling Shed for some games with this weeks words.

This week we will be working on what is a fraction, mixed fractions on a number line and equivalent fractions. Below are some videos to watch and activities to complete after you've watched them. There are some Active Learn games and also an LBQ unit to complete.

There's lots for you to do!

Science - Electricity Lesson 3

What are circuit diagrams?

In this lesson, we will be learning how electrical circuits are represented as diagrams. We will learn the symbol for each component and draw our own circuit diagrams. You will need a pencil, a piece of paper and a ruler.

Physical Education

Children and young people should engage in moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity for an average
of at least 60 minutes per day across the week. This weekly resource will give simple ideas on how to be
physically active with a different sport theme for 30 of those minutes each day.
