Watch the video of Jack and the Beanstalk again. Can you remember what happened in the story? Today you are going to be sequencing pictures of the story. This means putting them in the correct order. Use a time conjunction to show when in the story that picture happened e.g. First, In the morning, Next, After that, Finally.
We have been learning all about 3D shapes. What 3D shapes can you find in your house or whilst you are out on a walk? E.g. a tin of soup is the shape of a cylinder, a carton of juice is the shape of a cuboid, a football is the shape of a sphere. Draw pictures or write the names of the objects you could find under the correct 3D shape. There is also a 3D shape bingo game you can print off to play if you wish.
This is the last week of school before the Easter holidays. What is Easter? Why is it celebrated? Watch the Christian story of Easter here. Christians celebrate Easter as a way to remind them how Jesus died on the cross and came back from the dead. Eggs represent new life which is why we have Easter eggs and the cross on the top of hot cross buns reminds Christians that Jesus died on the cross. Now have a go at sequencing the Easter story yourself by drawing pictures and writing time conjunctions. You can use the comic strip below. There are also some Easter craft ideas for you to have a go at if you wish.
