This week we are reading the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Watch the story video here. When Jack climbed the beanstalk, his mother was very worried about him as she didn’t know where he had gone. She wants your help to make a wanted poster for Jack. Can you think of lots of interesting adjectives we could use to describe Jack and put them into sentences? Use the picture on the worksheet to help you e.g. Jack has long, blonde hair. He is wearing a yellow and red stripy top with a brown waistcoat.
We are going to be having another look at 3D shapes today. Watch this video to recap the properties of 3D shapes. Now have a go at the follow up activity below.
Last week we sketched our own farm scene. This week we are going to have a go at recreating these drawings using a different media such as paint or pastels. If you don’t have paints or pastels at home, you may choose to use pencil crayons or wax crayons. Remember to look carefully at your first drawing and the position of each object and animal, thinking about the background and foreground.
