Read or listen to third poem It’s a funny poem called ‘I udderley love you.’ See how many ‘moo’ words you can spot! Did you notice it was from the grown up’s point of view? It repeats ‘I love you when…’ and then the grown up says what they love.
The first thing to do is decide which style of poem you would like to do. Chose the ‘I love my mummy because….’ Or the ‘I love you when… ‘ style.
Important-This is your first try (draft), so you don’t have to be neat, you can make changes and even cross out! Concentrate on thinking what you’d like to say. When you’re happy with it, you’re going to write it neatly later. Check your sentences make sense and you’ve written the best sentences you can.
Now you can recognise and describe repeating patterns of colour and shapes, can you recognise these missing number patterns? This video will help you to spot numbers increasing (getting more) or decreasing (getting less) in a sequence of numbers. Now complete the missing number sequences. Look at the sequence of numbers and remember to check whether it’s an addition (decreasing) pattern or a subtraction (decreasing) pattern.
