Today, you are going to retell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk in your own words using your comic strip plan from yesterday. Write a sentence for each picture using the time conjunction you used at the top. Can you extend your sentences to make them longer and more interesting using “because” or “so”. E.g. e.g. One morning, Jack's Mum said "We need to sell our cow" so Jack set off to the market with the cow. Remember to also use capital letters, finger spaces, full stops and adjectives (describing words).

Complete the patterns on the worksheet below. Can you create your own patterns? For example, you could use paint, lego, pasta shapes to make your repeating patterns.
