Sparken Hill Academy are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring, motivated and highly committed General Classroom Support Assistant.

The successful applicant will need to be an inspirational and excellent team player who is able to demonstrate good communication skills and flexibility in supporting our pupils, staff and parents. 

As the successful candidate, you will be nurturing and approachable, showing initiative with children. You will enjoy working one-to-one with pupils and put the child’s wellbeing at the heart of all they do. You will have high aspirations for the achievement of our children and show a positive and enthusiastic attitude. 

Post 1: The hours of post 1 will be 8.30 – 12.15. The post will require the successful candidate to provide small group provision for 2-3 of our externally funded children in our Foundation Stage– following the direction of the teacher to ensure that these children access all opportunities provided.

Post 2: The hours of post 2 will initially be 8.45 – 12.30. The post will require the successful candidate to provide 1-1 provision for a Key Stage 1 externally funded child – following the direction of the teacher to ensure that these children access all opportunities provided.
