Boys League Match V Prospect Hill

Boys had their first league match of the season tonight away V Prospect Hill and what a brilliant game to start the season off. We started really well and worked well as a team tracking backwards as well as attacking. Henri had his first game as centre defence with Daniel on his right and Berkeley on the left. 
Alfie and Harvey played on the wings and their speed and technical ability on the ball is improving rapidly, having confidence to take players on. 
Our latest recruit only started at SHA a few weeks ago but Josh had a great game in goal 🥅 and made some incredible saves. 
Jake was chosen as captain and he and Jakub worked hard in midfield to control the game. 
First appearances today for Ollie, Matthew, Ethan and wojciech. 
well played boys a superb team effort. 

SHA V Redlands 

Tonights friendly was the first chance that the boys have had to play for over a year. This year the majority of the boys play football for club teams at the weekends and it really showed in their performance. 
By half time we were winning 7-0 with Jack D scoring all 7 goals. After half time we mixed things up a bit and  changed positions and players. It was much more even and the final score was 8-0. 

SHA V Gateford Park 

This was another good game and we gave some different boys the opportunity to play. However we still too strong for the opposite side and by half time we were winning 5-0. 
Once again we tried to play the boys in different positions and this did impact the game and made it more competitive. 
Final-score was 7-0. 

SHA v Holy Family 

This was a very close game indeed. We totally changed the team and gave lots of others boys the opportunity to represent school. Half time we were winning 1-0 and then just after half time 2-0. Holy family then came into the game and scored 2 good goals to make it 2-2. With a few minutes to go Alfie L scored his first ever goal for school and made it 3-2.
