Division 1 League Match V Redlands 

Thursday 26th September 

Our first match of the season and what a cracker it turned out to be.  We had some boys playing their first debut game for school and they blended in perfectly with their skills and attitude. 

At half time the score was 2-2 with strikes from  Shaun and Theo. In the 2nd half we lost our way a little bit and this lack of concentration allowed Redlands to score 2 quick goals. However after a few substitutes and a general moral boost we seemed to pick upon our game again and Harley managed to score from a Moses cross and we started to pass the ball around and play again. The final score was a 6-3 loss but each and everyone of the players gave 100% determination and commitment. With a few more weeks training sessions things will start to link together and hopefully results will improve. Well done boys a great team effort by you all. 

Boys league match V Norbridge 

Thursday 3rd October 2019

Our Boys played their 2nd league game of the season tonight V Norbridge and final result was 2-0 to Norbridge. 

We had plenty of chances to score but couldn’t get the ball on target at all  tonight. 

League match V St Johns 

Friday 11th October 2019

Another match tonight and another end to end game with so many chances that we should have been 6-0 up by half time. Harley had chance after chance but he just couldn’t find the back of the net for a while. Eventually it came and he scored a cracker of a goal. It really was end to end and with more goals from Shaun and Charlie the game was 3-3, we scored again to make it 4-3 and only 1 minute to go. Then as Riley was coming out of net for a simple catch from across a mix up in defence caused the ball to come off the defenders head and over Riley’s head. Final score was 4-4.
