Our amazing letter from Sir David Attenborough!

Autumn Term 1

During the first Autumn term, we will be looking at the following topics - Marine and Single Use Plastics

We will be looking at single use plastics and the impact they have on marine life.  We will also be participating in the Great British September Clean in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy.  The children really enjoy doing a litter pick up around the school grounds!  We will be looking at the items found, looking for any trends and ways to reduce our single use plastics in school.

We will also be testing your knowledge on what can and cannot be recycled with our local Council! We hope that you can remember what we learned on our trip to the MRF! smiley

Great British September Clean - Look at what we found around the school grounds! Please remember to put your litter in the rubbish bin :)

Autumn Term 2

During the second half of the Autumn Term we will be looking at the following Topics - Biodiversity and Climate Change

We will be kicking off this term by watching Sir David Attenborough's "A Life On Our Planet" together!

We will be looking at "biodiversity", finding out exactly what it means and how the loss of biodiversity is impacting on our world.  We will hopefully be doing lots of outdoor activities this half term, so remember to bring a coat to Eco Club!
