Governors are looking to appoint a permanent cleaner to join Sparken Hill Academy’s Premises Team.

The post holder will be responsible for general cleaning duties. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate good practical aptitude, and be able to carry out routine cleaning in all areas of the academy.

You must be able to work with a variety of staff, build good working relationships and be organised, consistent with a positive “can-do” attitude.

We are looking for someone who is very much a team player, willing to work alongside colleagues in a flexible and co-operative way.

Sparken Hill Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post. 

Hours of work: 10 hours per week. This is a 52 week (all year round) contract and you will therefore be required to work during school holiday periods.

Times: Monday – Friday 3.30pm – 5.30pm

Salary: Grade 1 Pt 2 - £6044 per annum 

The successful candidate will start when all relevant checks are complete.
